Start with five free minutes without signing in. The app is preparing for its public store release; these instructions also apply to the current device build.

Email CounterTalk support
The microphone or translation is not working

Allow microphone access in your device settings, check your internet connection, and make sure the correct microphone is selected in CounterTalk. If you use an external microphone, reconnect it and run the microphone setup again.

Confirm your language and the customer language before starting. Check your remaining time. If a service error continues, send feedback from Settings or email support.

The translation is in the wrong language

Check the owner language and customer language shown in the app. For a Korean-speaking owner and an English-speaking customer, set Korean and English respectively. Hold to talk is for the owner’s reply.

AI can mishear or mistranslate. Try a shorter sentence and confirm names, prices, and quantities. The app’s report action asks for permission before sending the selected line for review.

How do I see or restore my interpreting time?

Tap the remaining-time display. Start with five free minutes per device/account, without sign-in. Before purchasing, sign in with Apple on iPhone/iPad or Google on Android. Use the same CounterTalk account and original store account to restore purchases. Buying and using top-up time requires an active membership; unused top-ups remain banked after membership expires.

If time is missing, email the product name, approximate purchase date, device, and app version. Do not email full card details, passwords, or verification codes.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Manage renewal in the store where you purchased. Deleting the app or CounterTalk data does not cancel a subscription. Refund decisions follow the store’s process and applicable law.

Is conversation history saved?

Text history is off by default. If you enable it, the text is stored on that device until you delete it. CounterTalk does not save audio recordings; audio is sent to OpenAI for live translation after consent, subject to provider processing and retention terms.

A CSV you export or share is a separate copy. Delete it in the destination app if you no longer need it.

What should I include in a support request?

Tell us your device model, iOS or Android version, CounterTalk version, and what you were doing when the problem happened. Screenshots are optional; hide names and sensitive conversation text first. Do not send recordings, passwords, or sign-in codes.

How do I use another device?

Sign in with the same provider account to use your membership and remaining time on another phone or tablet. Apple and Google accounts with the same email address are not automatically combined. Cross-provider access requires fresh approval from your already authorized device. Separate accounts are never silently merged.

Conversation history and quick phrases are stored on each device; signing in does not transfer those local files.

Send feedback with your voice

Open Settings → Send feedback. Choose a bug, feature request, or other feedback. Use the microphone to dictate, edit the text, and tap Send. Text is saved to our private support inbox; the app does not automatically send an email.

The operating system’s speech recognition may process audio online. CounterTalk does not save dictation audio. You can copy your CounterTalk Device ID from Settings when contacting support. Do not include passwords, payment details, or sensitive conversation content.
