Your videos stay on your device. Here is how Clipwell handles media, permissions, and support.
This policy covers the current Clipwell app from SW Cosmos Inc. Clipwell edits and exports media on your device. It does not require an account or send your projects or media to SW Cosmos servers.
The app contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, third-party SDKs, or cloud editing service. We do not collect app usage or media through the app.
The system photo or file picker lets you choose the items to import. Clipwell copies the selected items into its local app storage so your project can use them. It does not request access to browse your entire photo library.
When you choose Save to Photos, Clipwell requests permission to add the finished video to Photos. You can decline and use Share video to save to Files or another destination instead. You control permissions in system Settings.
Projects, imported media, and exported working files are stored locally. Deleting a draft removes its project record; imported media copies may remain because other drafts can reference the same files.
Deleting the app on iPhone or iPad removes its local app data. Offload App keeps documents and data. On Mac, removing the application alone may leave its local data. See the Delete local data page for details. Original source media and videos already saved to Photos or Files remain until you delete them there.
System backups, iCloud Photos, or your chosen file provider may store data according to your Apple or provider settings. Clipwell does not operate its own cloud synchronization service. Projects do not automatically sync between devices.
Sharing is initiated by you through the system share sheet. The selected destination processes the shared video under its own terms and privacy policy.
If you email info@swcosmos.com, we receive your email address, message, and anything you choose to attach. We use this information to answer your request and keep correspondence as needed to resolve it or meet applicable obligations. Do not send passwords, payment details, or private footage unless necessary.
Contact info@swcosmos.com for access or deletion requests about support correspondence, including a parent or guardian request. We may need to verify that the request concerns you. Media kept only on your device cannot be accessed or deleted remotely by us.
This policy distinguishes the app from this public website. SW Cosmos website hosting processes requests and technical logs, and the website uses Google Analytics for visits and performance. Browser, device, page, approximate location, and cookie or similar information may be processed by these website providers. These services are not embedded in Clipwell.
