Agreement And License

These Terms of Use govern the NoiseOff iOS app and related NoiseOff services provided by SW Cosmos Inc. By accessing or using NoiseOff, you agree to these Terms, the NoiseOff Privacy Policy, Apple’s applicable terms, and the terms of each social platform you choose to connect. If you do not agree, do not use NoiseOff.

SW Cosmos grants you a limited, personal or internal-business, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use NoiseOff as permitted by these Terms and applicable App Store rules.

Connected Accounts And Permissions

NoiseOff connects to Instagram, Threads, YouTube, and Facebook through official provider authorization and APIs. You must control or be authorized to manage every account, channel, or Page you connect and must comply with the provider’s rules.

Provider eligibility and features vary. Instagram requires a Business or Creator account; Facebook requires an eligible Page and Page access; YouTube requires an accessible channel. A provider may limit, revoke, review, or change permissions at any time. NoiseOff cannot grant a role or capability that the provider has not approved for your account or for the NoiseOff app.

You can disconnect a platform in NoiseOff and can revoke authorization in the provider’s settings. Facebook may retain an account-level app permission after NoiseOff removes its stored Page token; you can clear that permission in Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites. You remain responsible for protecting your device and provider accounts.

Classification And Moderation Controls

NoiseOff combines a privacy-masked OpenAI moderation safety signal with deterministic rules and settings on your device. Your device verifies the signal against the exact captured comment and makes the final display decision. If the remote signal is missing or invalid, NoiseOff falls back to a protective local policy. Classification can still be incomplete, inaccurate, or affected by language, context, sarcasm, coded speech, masking, or provider data quality. Review important decisions yourself.

NoiseOff may offer an explicit hide or restore action only for provider content and permissions that support it. Eligible targets vary by provider; Threads nested replies and mention posts remain read-only. You initiate each source-platform action. A label such as protected, quietly handled, needs review, hidden, or restored does not guarantee what every viewer can see on the source platform, and NoiseOff does not automatically delete source comments or publish posts or replies.

NoiseOff is an attention-management tool, not a promise to detect, prevent, investigate, or resolve harassment, threats, unlawful conduct, or platform-policy violations.

Evidence Records And Exports

You may choose to preserve a higher-risk record and create an export containing the captured content representation, source fields available from the provider, NoiseOff context, and integrity hashes. You are responsible for storing and sharing exported files securely and lawfully.

A NoiseOff export is not a certified forensic image, notarized record, provider webpage screenshot, legal filing, or guarantee of authenticity, admissibility, completeness, or chain of custody. It is not certified legal evidence. Preserve the original provider record when possible and consult a qualified lawyer or forensic professional for a specific legal matter.

Safety And Professional Advice

NoiseOff is not an emergency service, medical or mental-health service, law firm, law-enforcement agency, or crisis-response service. Its classifications, summaries, prompts, and exports are not medical, mental-health, emergency, safety, or legal advice.

If you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource. For medical, mental-health, legal, or personal-safety guidance, contact a qualified professional. Do not delay seeking help because of anything shown or not shown by NoiseOff.

Acceptable Use

You may not use NoiseOff to access an account without authorization; evade provider safeguards; harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, or exploit another person; violate privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights; create deceptive evidence; probe, scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the service; distribute malware; or use stolen credentials.

We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect people or systems, comply with law or provider requirements, or preserve service integrity.

Third-Party Services And Availability

NoiseOff depends on Apple, Supabase, Meta services, Google services, network access, and the availability and review status of provider APIs. Third-party outages, permission changes, rate limits, account status, and API changes can delay, restrict, or disable a connection or moderation action.

NoiseOff does not guarantee real-time monitoring, uninterrupted imports, complete provider history, or permanent availability of any connector. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies, and NoiseOff is not endorsed by or responsible for those services.

Privacy, Retention, And Deletion

NoiseOff’s handling of connected-account data, transient provider plaintext, identifier masking, OpenAI moderation processing, encrypted originals, source references, retention settings, provider credentials, and website analytics is described in the Privacy Policy.

You can delete the full anonymous NoiseOff account in Settings → Privacy & Storage → Delete NoiseOff account. The confirmed flow requests revocation of connected-provider access and purges the associated NoiseOff cloud records, anonymous authentication account, stored provider credentials, and local app data. An interrupted deletion may enter a restricted retry state until required revocation and deletion steps can be safely confirmed.

Deleting a NoiseOff account does not delete comments, posts, profiles, channels, Pages, or accounts that remain with a source provider, and it does not remove evidence files you already exported or shared outside NoiseOff. As described in the Privacy Policy, a protected incomplete retry receipt may temporarily retain the anonymous authentication UUID for up to 60 days; a completed identifier-free receipt containing only a one-way deletion-token HMAC and timestamps may also remain for up to 60 days.

Disclaimers And Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NoiseOff is provided “as is” and “as available.” SW Cosmos disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SW Cosmos will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, or lost data arising from NoiseOff, provider actions, missed or incorrect classification, or reliance on an evidence export. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Termination, Changes, And Contact

You may stop using NoiseOff at any time. We may update, limit, or discontinue a feature when reasonably necessary for security, law, provider requirements, or service operation, and may terminate access for material or repeated violations of these Terms.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in NoiseOff, store rules, provider requirements, law, or business operations. The updated version will show a new effective date and additional notice will be provided when required. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to SW Cosmos Inc., while mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence continue to apply. Questions may be sent to info@swcosmos.com.
